We are so excited to welcome Sophie to the team as a junior graphic designer. Sophie has worked with the team for a few months and has done an amazing job. She will be helping me with graphics design projects both internally and with our clients. She has an incredible work ethic and a great eye for design.
Sophie grew up in Germany but is currently completing her education at CCD Denver in graphic design. She loves German food! German pretzels 🥨, potato dumplings, and their famous curry wurst!
She moved to Denver in 2020 during covid. She had trouble coming into the States because everything was in lock down so she had to come through Jamaica 🇯🇲 and quarantine there for 2 weeks (fun fact!). She worked as a teacher in a Montessori school for a little while until she found herself just craving a job that fulfilled her passion for art. She's designed wedding invitations for fun and this lead her to consider a career in graphic design. She started her graphic design degree in 2023 and will finish early this December!
Sophie's favorite parts of graphic design are typography and logo design. She loves exploring her new skills in communications and visual design. Her goal as a designer is to leave a lasting impact through her designs and it's important to her to stand out and make an impression.
Her friends would describe her as being a “wussler” that’s a German word that describes someone who is always productive and love a to do list. She is very outgoing and fun. Her hobbies are traveling to Europe, cuddling with her dog Gus, and checking out new breweries or coffee shops.
We are sooo excited to welcome Sophie to our team. She is the perfect fit at Nat Marie Design. Her work ethic and positive attitude match what we’re all about and I can’t wait to continue working together.
